Using Stands to Your Advantage

According to bannerstandsrollup.com, if you are participating in a trade show, you will have need of many different types of promotional material and displays, in order to effectively show those attending the show what you have, and how you can potentially benefit them and their business. Everyone knows that the key to having a very effective presence at a trade show is to have outstanding advertising and promotion products on display at the show itself.
While banners and posters are extremely effective at encouraging people to actually enter your booth, you may find that what really captures their interest is your audio visual display. I have found audio visual promotional and informational clips very effective when advertising at a trade show, especially in finding contacts for future follow up.
Usually I bring my laptop along, hook it up to a wide LCD screen, and have clips running almost continuously. Most people who enter the booth will invariably end up in front of the TV stand watching the different clips as they play. It is best if you can have the clips rotate, and include clips on a variety of different subjects, as that will keep them in your booth even longer. And remember, the longer they actually stay in your booth looking at your material, the more chance you have to make a sale. Using TV stands, you can also place the screen outside of your booth. That has proven quite effective at times, though usually more so when advertising an actual product. For example, we were selling animated educational DVDs, and having the DVD playing outside of our booth caused quite a crowd to gather. They liked what they saw, and they would often pick up brochures and come back later to inquire further about the products.
However, if you are selling services or you have multiple products that you are trying to promote, you may find it more useful to have the presentation running inside your actual booth. Usually, in that case, the banners and posters will draw the people into the booth, and they will naturally come to rest right in front of your stand. This is a very effective method of finding who is genuinely interested in your product, and it is then easy to exchange name-cards and work out a follow up appointment. Once someone has stayed long enough to view your presentation, they are usually good candidates for future communication and sales.
