Modern Corner Office Desk

I have been working at a bank for the past five years and it has been a difficult times for bank.  Luckily the bank I work for did not do too many bad loans and is in good shape.  They have been a little more conservative on purchasing new office desks and office furniture that we have needed.  Obviously the rates have not been that good for savings account and certificates of deposits.  Although, it has been a difficult time and clients have been frustrated with the lower rates the bank is still moving forward.

I was able to get a new office that was much needed along with a new chair and a nice modern corner office desk.  It has been a nice change not having to hear the squeaks that I used to have with my older chair.  The last desk I had was an eye sore and I had to have it in the middle of my office.  With the new corner office desk I have more space in my office to move around. I was able to put in a nice filing cabinet to have a place to keep some of my older files.  I have more space to put a little tiny fridge to keep my drinks and lunch cold.

It has been nice to see even in these difficult times that we have been able to progress little by little.  I am glad that my bank has been well capitalized and was conservative in its lending before the crash of the housing market.  If that was not the case my bank could have crashed and the FDIC would have taken over and I would not have my nice new office furniture and office.  Most importantly I would be out of a job and looking for a way to provide for my family.
