I spent a large amount of time looking for the perfect corner desk after becoming manager of a local banking branch. I wanted to buy a desk that would let others know that I belonged in an executive role and this is why quality was very important to me. I understand that others judge you based on the desk that you have in your office, for that reason I needed to buy the best. I looked at many furniture stores and I found that their prices were very high. I even found some plastic desks that were out of my price range, there was nothing special about them and the plastic could only support about twenty pounds. This would be unable to hold my monitor and I decided to look for something higher in quality.
I selected the rustic oak corner desk and I love the look of this product, the finish on the wood was simple and it gave off a look of style. My grandfather works with wood every day and he told me that he loved the desk. The wood was soft in texture because it was sanded nicely, this made it enjoyable to touch and it was glossy enough to get a lot of attention from my coworkers. They admired the look of the desk and I loved the thickness because I have fallen on my desk several times. It has held up nicely and I have no fear that it will ever hear. There is also a compartment that allows me to place my keyboard into the desk. I use a wireless keyboard and mouse, I find that there is plenty of room for me to use the computer in comfort. The typing position helps me to keep my back aligned and I stay comfortable because of these corner desks.
