A7 Envelopes

The thing that separates a7 envelopes from other envelopes is basically the size. A7 envelopes are pretty much any envelope that is 5 1/4″ x 7 1/4″ in size, which is perfect for cards, letters, and any social or business invitation type card. Although not generally used for mailing letters between friends, A7 envelopes are the perfect mailing tool to make your letter stand out from the crowd, in that the size of the envelope is so different than the standard mailing size. As they are the classic announcement type envelope, the A7 generally has a flattened closing flap as opposed to the triangular closing flap that you’ll see on the classic style envelopes. This is to give the envelope a more professional look, for urgent mail, as well as invitations to parties, and possibly other social events.
The downside of a7 envelopes, is that they are short, so they are not meant to accomadate formal letters in the standard, or widely accepted “letter fold” style, as the average paper that a letter is written on is wider than an a7 sized envelope. Not that this is a really bad thing. If you want to send a letter that stands out, and is still considered professional, compared to your competitors in the business world, then the a7 is the perfect envelope to do it with!
The cost of these envelopes can be slightly more expensive than that of your basic envelope in that they are not used as often as your standard envelope and some even consider them rare. Although, just as with any kind of envelope, a7 envelopes tend to cost less when you buy them in large amounts, so while some companies charge alot for them, it is a good idea to shop around in order to find the best deal that you possibly can when shopping for your supply of a7 lined envelopes.
There are many benefits to a7 mailing envelopes, as opposed to the standard kind. The first, and most obvious benefit being that they can be used as a promotional tool for businesses because they are the perfect size to stand out from the surplus of mail that people get on a daily basis. The cool thing about these envelopes, is that they also can come in a variety of colors, so not only will your message stand out to customers as far as size, but in that you can put color in your advertisements as well.
